NOTICE IS GIVEN YOU, unknown fathers, address unknown, respondent(s), and to all whom it may concern, that on December 8, 2020, a petition for adjudication was filed under the Juvenile Court Act by the Christian County State’s Attorney in this court and that in the courtroom of Judge Amanda Ade-Harlow in the Christian County Courthouse, Third Floor, Courtroom B, Taylorville, Illinois, on January 26, 2022 at 1:15 P.M.,  thereafter as this case  may be heard, a petition for adjudication hearing will be held upon the petition to have the minor declared to be a ward of the court and for other relief under that Act.

 

The court has authority in this proceeding to take from you the custody and guardianship of the minor, to terminate your parental rights, and to appoint a guardian with power to consent to adoption. You may lose all parental rights to your child. The petition requests the termination of your parental rights and the appointment of a guardian with power to consent to adoption. You may lose all parental rights to the child.

 

UNLESS YOU  appear at the hearing and show cause to the contrary, AN ORDER OR JUDGMENT BY DEFAULT MAY BE ENTERED AGAINST YOU FOR THE RELIEF ASKED IN THE PETITION.
