TAYLORVILLE — Taylorville hIgh School graduate Chris Litteken (Class of ’93) has been promoted to the position of Vice President for the Intel Corporation. Chris and his team develop physics-based reliability models, stress-test products, and engage with customers in order to meet Intel’s stringent Quality and Reliability requirements. Chris manages a team of more than 400 engineers across the globe including India, Malaysia, Israel, Costa Rica, and the United States.
Following high school, Chris received a B.S. from the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign and a Ph.D from Stanford University, both in Material Science and Engineering. After two internships with Intel, Chris began his career in 2004 as a Quality and Reliability Engineer with Intel’s Logic Technology Division supporting the qualification of INtel’s 65nm/32nm silicon technology nodes. Subsequently, Chris has held a variety of technical and organizational leadership positions across Intel including Technology Development, Manufacturing, and Product Development with assignments in Dalian China, New Mexico, Oregon, and Arizona. He has twice been awarded with an Intel Achieve Award in recognition of Technical Excellence.
Chris currently lives in Portland, Oregon, with his wife Maureen and daughters Bailey, Rose, and Brooklyn Pat Litteken. He is the son of Dan and Carolyn Litteken of Taylorville.
