Rural Palmer Woman Missing

(TAYLORVILLE) — On Dec. 6, 2021, an elderly female from rural Palmer was reported missing to the Christian County Sheriff’s Office. The 71-year-old female, Rebecca L. Arkebauer, was last seen at her residence yesterday evening around 7:00 p.m. Arkebauer is believed to be driving a red, 2020 Ford Escape with Illinois license plate 33053T-B. Family members advised Arkebauer is showing signs of Alzheimers and her destination is unknown. The public is being asked to help locate Mrs. Arkebauer.
