TAYLORVILLE — Taylorville resident Ted Campbell, 91, sings German love songs all around the town. This is Campbell’s tenth year singing for everyone to hear. His routine includes McDonalds, Taylorville nursing homes and most businesses in Christian County every December. Campbell’s Grandfather came to the United States and Ted himself, who wanted to continue his heritage, took 2 years of German at Decatur High School and doesn’t plan on stopping anytime soon.
