Cathy Jo Lee, 60 of Auburn, died at 6:51 a.m. on Sunday, December 12, 2021 at Taylorville Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. Cathy was born on January 12, 1961 in Beecher City to Daniel & Lenora (Montgomery) Reed. She grew up in Palmer and graduated from Morrisonville High School. Cathy became a CNA and worked in the Taylorville area for many years. She had the sweetest personality, and everybody loved her. Cathy adored her grandchildren more than anything, and she will be dearly missed.

Cathy is survived by her significant other: Mike Miller of Auburn; her three daughters: Megan Lee of Taylorville, Patricia Lee of Virden, and Debbra Lee of Virden; four grandchildren: Emmett, Gabriela, Abel, and Wyatt; siblings: Gerri (Keith) Conrath, Becky (Floyd) Reed; Madonna; Krystal (Steven) Lopez; brother-in-law: Wes Streight; and her best friend: Sheri Sunderland; as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. Cathy was preceded in death by her father: Danny Reed, her mother and stepfather: Lenora and Duane Steele; sisters: Vicki Charles and Lavon Straight.
