George R. Rever and Norma G. (Schafer) Rever will celebrate 65 years of marriage on December 29, 2021. They were wed December 29, 1956 in Assumption, Illinois, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. The ceremony was conducted by Rev. Dr. C.T. Stole with Mary Pacifica Rever as Maid of Honor and Steven N. Grant as Best Man. Margaret Regina Rever was Bridesmaid and William (Bill) Singler was Groomsman.
They have two children: Dolores (Dee) and James (Jim), deceased. They have five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
