TAYLORVILLE — Coach, teacher and friend Tonya Goodroe took her final walk through Memorial Elementary School as an educator on Friday, December 17, 2021. “It goes by fast” Goodroe admits after a reflection on her 34 year long career. She was escorted through school as students lined the halls from side to side. Awaiting her was a shower of confetti, Clark the Cub smashing a pie to her face and lots and LOTS of hugs. Congratulations on retirement, Mrs. Tonya Goodroe.
