Ingredients
1 tablespoon (1/2 oz) clear orange liqueur
1 tablespoon (1/2 oz) raspberry liqueur
1 tablespoon (1/2 oz) chilled simple syrup
1/2 cup (4 oz) chilled sparkling wine
Lime wedge or twist, if desired
Steps
In a sparkling wine glass, mix orange liqueur, raspberry liqueur and simple syrup.
Pour sparkling wine over mixture in glass. Garnish with lime wedge or twist.
Tips from the Betty Crocker Kitchens
For a big batch of Holiday Mimosas, in a pitcher, mix 3 oz (a little over 1/3 cup) each of orange liqueur, raspberry liqueur and simple syrup. Cover and chill. To serve, set out 6 sparkling wine glasses with lime wedges or twists, your pitcher with your chilled mix.
Prosecco, Cava and American sparkling wine are all great choices for this drink. But to make it even more special, feel free to splurge and use French Champagne!
To make Simple Syrup, add 1 cup of sugar and 1 cup water to a 1-quart saucepan. Heat to boiling over medium-high heat, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat; let stand 30 minutes. Transfer to a storage container; cover and refrigerate up to 3 days. Makes 1 1/4 cups.
