TAYLORVILLE — The Stonington American Legion Auxiliary held their annual Christmas party on Monday, December 13 in the home of member Jak Helton in Taylorville.
A pizza party, games and gifts were enjoyed by all. Please help them remember our fallen heroes.
Their organization has raised $2,500 which will provide 249 wreaths to be placed on the graves in Camp Butler Cemetery.
The total raised over all this year for Camp Butler for the 28,000 veterans interned there is $8,430 which surpasses the goal of $8,000.
Thanks to all who support this cause and you may continue to donate throughout 2022, as this is a continuing project for their unit.
For further information you may visit www.wreathsacrossamerica.org/IL0207. Dress according to weather as the process takes a lot of time and walking.
