Patricia Patton
December 28, 1936 — December 9, 2021 Patricia Patton passed away in the
Kaiser Hospital in Roseville, CA on December 9, 2021, following a short struggle with Covid 19. Patricia
was born on December 28,1936 in Edinburg, Illinois to parents Virgil H. Patton and Mildred Ruth (Rigg) Patton . Patricia attended Edinburg High School through 10th grade and then set out on her own. She lived a few more years in Illinois and subsequently lived in Arizona, California, Nevada, and back to Auburn, CA in June of 1999, where she remained for the rest of her time. For several years she shared living accommodations with her very good friend, Anita Pena’.
Patricia was the second of 5 born to Virgil and Mildred and is survived by one brother, Phillip Patton of Carson City, NV (the fourth born). Since she never married, Patricia had no children but is survived by six nieces and four nephews. She is also survived by one aunt, Martha Jane Beaty of Collierville, TN (formerly Martha Jane Patton of Edinburg, IL).
Patricia is predeceased by three brothers; Gerald Thomas Patton, Rich- ard Winston Patton, and John David Patton, all originally from Edinburg, Il.
Patricia loved life and took advantage of vacation time, traveling by auto to many parts of the U.S.A. In her travels she covered from Main to South- ern California and from Seattle to Florida.
Patricia wanted only a very private service. Her remains will be cre- mated in Auburn, CA and transferred to Phillip’s home in Nevada.
