Information sought in local vehicle theft

TAYLORVILLE — This week Crimestoppers is seeking information in regards to a vehicle theft that occurred in Taylorville.

On 12-19-2021, person or persons unknown made entry onto a property located at 821 East Lewis Street. While there, the unknown subject or subjects entered a red Chevy sedan that was parked at the residence. The vehicle was taken from the scene. The vehicle was later recovered. No damage was done while making entry.

Crimestoppers will pay double the normal reward for information that leads to an arrest for the crime of the week.
