Dear Editor,
I applaud Mr. Murray for signing a letter to The editor in contrast to those who cower and snipe anonymously behind Speak Out. I disagree that Congress is wasting funds. That assumes we already know the outcome of their investigation. We don’t. Those who were responsible for this murderous coup attempt must come to Justice to prevent any future attempt to overthrow our Democratic Government. We all know The Big Lie fomented this Coup attempt. And we all know the people who promoted that Lie and called for people to come to Washington with the intention of preventing the lawful certification of the election. We know who whipped the crowd into a fury. We know 5 policemen died and hundreds of people were injured. We know guns were present as evidenced by recent convictions of participants in the riot and coup. So don’t go there. “A Few Arms”? How about weapons including clubs, knives, stealing officers batons and weapons on and on. The military was on standby but patriotic generals such as General Milley and several other Generals had already discussed how they would prevent Trump from using the military to complete a coup attempt. Yes, they were that worried and as it turns out corrrct in their assessment. The only reason Trump couldn’t use those troops is the Generals respected the Constitution unlike Trump and his traitorous cohorts. Trump did refuse to allow the National Guard to put down the coup for three hours despite pleadings of his Chief of Staff, his own Son, and numerous other White House members including. McCarthy. It’s obvious. He hoped the traitorous crowd would succeed in preventing the certification so he could remain in power. He didn’t care who was killed or who got hurt. He didn’t care if our Democracy survived, only that he remain in power. Despite Mr. Murray’s statement that the coup was a horrible act he continues to minimize it in his actual letter. You can’t have it both ways.

Dear Editor,
The article by the AP in Monday’s Breeze at the top of page three was the biggest bunch of bunk I’ve ever read. Everything is exactly backwards. Does anybody think voter ID is an “unrelenting assault on the right to vote”? Biden’s going to give a speech on sustaining democracy? He’s trying to destroy it.
Nobody seemed concerned at all when they caught Obama telling Putin, “When I get reelected I’ll have more latitude.” Nobody seemed concerned when then Vice President Biden told the Ukrainian official, “If you don’t get rid of the guy investigating my son you don’t get the money.”
What about Peter Strzok, a married man having an affair with another married FBI agent. He said, “Let the coup begin.” He said he had an insurance policy. That had to be Jim Comey or Andrew McCabe. Looks to me like that’s insurrection.
Everyone is so concerned about January 6. What about the big three? The guy in the red hat, the guy taking down the gates and the guy that was high up urging people on? They’ve never been arrested.
Fox news finally found “Red Hat” on his ranch in Arizona. He told them to get off his property. I’m betting he was an FBI plant and probably the other two also. The current administration knows no bound in their crookedness. I’m proud that out of 102 counties in Illinois only 13 went blue. Christian County went 72% for Trump.
God Bless President Trump and his family. I’ll stick with freedom versus socialism.
