SPRINGFIELD – The Community Foundation for the Land of Lincoln is currently accepting applications for two separate grant cycles:
King’s Daughters Organization Fund
The King’s Daughters Organization (KDO) Fund provides financial support to programs and services that enhance the quality of life and address the unmet needs of older residents (55 years of age and older) in Sangamon County. This is the 15th year ofgrantmakingfromtheFund, which has awarded more than $1.8 million to local charities in that time.
Access to the online grant application and instructions on completing the proposal can be found on the Community Foundation’s website: www. CFLL.org. Local non-profit organizations that operate in Sangamon County and serve the elderly are encouraged to submit an application before the February 4, 2022 deadline.
Applications will be reviewed, and a select group of organizations will be invited for an interview in late March. Applicants will be notified of their grant status by late April. Grant amounts will range from $2,500 to $25,000 and will be based on availability of funds.
The Women’s Fund
The Women’s Fund is an endowment built through annual contributions of Women for Women members to increase awareness and address the needs of women and children in Sangamon and surrounding counties including Cass, Christian, Logan, Macoupin, Menard, Morgan, and Montgomery.
Up to $38,000 is available, and grant(s) will be awarded to programs that address the most pressing issues facing local women and their families.
Women for Women members pool their resources to fund worthy projects and achieve greater impact in the community. Since it was established in 2007, Women for Women has granted more than $430,000 to programs that support local women and children.

website: www.CFLL.org. Local non-profit organizations are encouraged to submit a letter of inquiry before the February 4, 2022 deadline.
Letters of inquiry will be reviewed, and organizations that are selected to submit a full grant proposal will be notified by early March. The final grant awards will be announced in May 2022.
Women for Women was established at the Community Foundation in order to promote philanthropy among women, create a permanent source for grantmaking and to address the needs of women and children in the community.
