Taylorville bowling raises money for ACS
TAYLORVILLE — On November 30, 2021, both boys and girls bowling teams came together with Colalinsville for the first Charity Challenge match at Taylorville Olde Bowl. The purpose of this match was to raise as much money for the American Cancer Society as possible. Both teams collected donations to make one joint donation. Both schools earned a cumulative amount of $6,705! Our highest fundraiser was junior Bryeson Tellor who raised over $800.
This is something Taylorville High School is planning on doing each year with Collinsville. Next year the teams will visit them and Collinsville will pick the charity of their choice.
