Taylorville Tornadoes send Danville for a twist at Olde Bowl

Lucas Domonousky Breeze-Courier Sports Editor

TAYLORVILLE — At the Olde Bowl on Monday the Taylorville bowling team took on the Danville Vikings. The girls and the boys both faced off just a few lanes apart from one another. Both Tornadoes swept the Vikes with final scores of 2402-2230 for the boys and 2197-1822 for the girls.

The bowling began at 3;30 on Monday afternoon and was filled with over two hours of bowling competition. Danville boys unfortunately only had three of their players so Taylorville had to lend them two of their own. This happens from time to time teams carrying insufficient about of team members. This situation brings a fresh friendly competition to the match itself.

Both Taylorville teams had no problem derailing their opponent and taking the victory over the Vikings.

The girls will see the lanes next and will be bowling tonight, Tuesday against Pana.
