(CARLYLE) — Pana senior Brenden Schoonover scored 23 points and Devon Peebles added 15 as the Pana Panthers picked up their 16th straight win, a 75-38 non-conference win over the host Carlyle Indians on Friday night.
Colin Schmitz put in 10 points and Kyle Kuhn scored 8 in the contest. Ace Armstrong finished with 7 and Max Lynch chipped in with 6. Rounding out the scoring were Drew Hackler, Evan Hudlin and Brant Bowker with 2 points apiece.
After jumping out to a 19-6 first quarter lead, Pana posted a 33-13 halftime lead. It was 57-29, Pana, going into the fourth quarter.
The Panthers shot 43% at the free throw line, 3-of-7, while Carlyle was 10-of-15, 67%.
Pana is 16-1 overall and will be playing in the Litchfield Invitational Tournament during the upcoming week.
