BOTTOM LINE: No. 17 Illinois visits the Maryland Terrapins after Alfonso Plummer scored 24 points in Illinois’ 96- 88 overtime loss to the Purdue Boilermakers.

LATE NEWS: Senior Kofi Cockburn did not make the trip to College Park, Maryland, and will not play. An Illinois spokesman said he is in the concussion protocol.
Apparently, Cockburn took an inadvertent shot in practice on Sundy, but was okay, but after taking a coulple of elbows in Monday’s game with Purdue, he said he wasn’t feeling right.
His availability for Tuesday’s Michigan game is not yet known.
