Irene J. Morris, 86, of Nokomis passed away Thursday, January 20, 2022 at Nokomis Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.
Services for Mrs. Morris will be held Monday, January 24, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Stiehl Dawson Funeral Home in Nokomis with Rev. Myron Kirk officiating. Visitation will be held at 10:00 AM prior to the services
Mrs. Morris was born June 5, 1935 in Pana, Illinois to Grace (Altevogt) and John Stolte. She married Arthur B. Morris on June 5, 1954 in Fillmore. He preceded her in death on June 4, 2016. She was the former owner of Rene’s Tap.
She is survived by her children Ronald (Christine) Morris of Nokomis, Roger Morris of Ohlman and Susan (Kevin) Johnson of Taylorville, 7 grandchildren, 22 great grandchikdren, sisters Linda Zupanci, Norma Porter, Dolores Stolte all of Nokomis. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Earl Stolte.

Linda, so sorry your sister passed. I don’t believe I ever ment her. If she was like you, I am sure those that knew her found her to be very loving and generous. Sorry for your loss.
