Jan. 24:
Amarion J. Ward, 19, of Springfield, was arrested on an undisclosed warrant.
Austin Mayes, 24, no address given, was arrested for domestic battery.

Jan. 25:
Deputies arrested Lanita Newingham, 55, no address given, for a warrant for failure to pay as ordered by the court.
Accidents
Jan. 23:
Bo Buschon, no age or address given, was traveling eastbound on 1500N Road in South
Fork township when he struck a deer in the roadway. No one was injured.
Jan. 24:
Jessie Schimel and Christopher Allen, no ages or addresses given, were involved in a traffic crash in Assumption township. Schimel’s vehicle was traveling westbound on 900N Road when it ran past the stop sign and crashed into Allen’s vehicle. Both vehicles came to rest in a field in the northwest corner of the intersection. No report of injuries and no report of damage.
