Orville Dwayne Tucker, 69 of Raymond, died peacefully at his home surrounded by family on Monday, January 25, 2022. A private funeral mass will be officiated by Rev. John Burnette at 10:00 am on Monday, January 31, 2022, at St. Raymond Catholic Church, in Raymond, Illinois. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, Taylorville Ill.
Orville D. Tucker was born August 8, 1952 in Taylorville, Illinois, to Carl and Bernadine (Durbin) Tucker. He married Cathy Kay (Corso) Tucker on November 27, 1973 in Springfield, Illinois with a blessing ceremony at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Taylorville, Illinois, November 27, 1974.

He worked as a foreman for the Local 159 labor union. In addition to his wife, Cathy, Mr. Tucker is survived by his children, Cheryce (Tucker) and Andrew Noblet; Jennifer (Tucker) and Shane Kennedy, eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, three brothers and four sisters. He was preceded in death by his mother, father, sister June, brother Carl Eugene, and son Zackery L. Tucker.
