Court appearances
Published court appearances reflect the daily 10:00 a.m. criminal call and do not necessarily account for all felony proceedings heard that day. Christian County Resident Judge Brad Paisley presided over the following cases on Feb. 10, 2022:
Brian C. Callan had pre-trials in three felony cases including 21CF72, possession of meth five grams or less and possession of a controlled substance, was continued until Mar. 17, 2022.
Pre-trial for Zachary C. Crowley, 20CF308, two counts of grooming and manufacture of harmful video material, was continued for a 402 Conference on Mar. 8, 2022 at 8:30 a.m. with pre-trial on Mar. 17, 2022.
Brandon M. DeClerck, 22CF19, possession of meth between five and 15 grams and aggravated fleeing police made first appearance with counsel status hearing was set for Apr. 1, 2022.
Hearing on a motion to suppress evidence for Joshua M. DeClerck, 21CF111, armed violence; meth delivery between five and 15 grams; and felon possession/use of weapon/firearm, was continued until Mar. 22, 2022, at 1:15 p.m.
Brian K. Durbin, 19CF169, possession of a controlled substance, made first appearance with counsel and waived arraignment on a petition to revoke probation. Pre-trial was set for Mar. 7, 2022.
Pre-trial for Nicholas D. Harris, 19CF377, aggravated DUI/4, was continued until Feb. 14, 2022.
Matthew A. Hurley, 21CF1, criminal trespass to residence, pled guilty in a negotiated settlement of the case. The defendant was sentenced to 18 months of probation as four days int he Christian County Jail with credit for two days served (good time applies). He will undergo substance abuse evaluation and participate in any treatment recommended by the probation department. Fines and fees total $1,237.
Kade H. Jones, 22CF1, two counts of burglary, waived preliminary hearing and formal arraignment and pled not guilty. Pre-trial is Mar. 17, 2022.
Pre-trials for Dylan J. Russell, 21CF228, aggravated DUI/no valid license and aggravated fleeing police and 20CF246, two counts of aggravated battery in a public place, was continued until Mar. 17, 2022.
