Everett “Hank” Jones

October 28, 1937 — February 9, 2022

Everett “Hank” Jones, 84 of Pana passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at Pana Community Hospital. He was born October 28, 1937 in Christian County, Ill., son of the late Floyd L. & Marie (Beeman) Jones. He married Florence Rowley on December 24, 1989 and she survives.

Hank had worked for Firestone and then was the owner & driver for J & B Trucking. He loved tractors & semis. He especially enjoyed going to the shop and visiting with his buddies and spending time with his grandchildren. Hank was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene, Pana; Pana Eagles Club & Pana Elks.

Hank is also survived by his children: Dwayne Jones, Pana, Ill.; Tim Jones, Pana, Ill.; Brenda (Denny) Holt, Springfield, Ill.; Bill Willey, Jr. (Wendy), Pana, Ill.; Barb (Roger) Leach, Edinburg, Ill.; Betty (Mark) Ferrell, Dayton, Ohio; Paul (Katie) Willey, Summerville, SC; Robyn Cloe, Pana, Ill. and several grandchildren & great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Bev Weber; son-in-law, Fritz Weber; granddaughter, Peace Lily and siblings: Leroy Jones & Johnny Jones.

Funeral services for Hank will be held on Monday, February 14, 2022 in First Church of the Nazarene, Pana at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor Todd Holman & Pastor Allen Ebbler officiating. Private family inurnment will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Assumption at a later date. Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 p.m. until service time in the church.

Memorials in Hank’s honor may be made to the donor’s choice and will be accepted by McCracken-Dean Funeral Home who is assisting the family.
