Court appearances
Published court appearances reflect the daily 10:00 a.m. criminal call and do not necessarily account for all felony proceedings heard that day. Christian County Resident Judge Brad Paisley presided over the following cases on Feb. 15, 2022:
Kyle L. Adkins, 21CF172, meth delivery five grams or less, had jury trial set for May 2, 2022 at 8:30 a.m. with final pre-trial on Apr. 19, 2022 at 1:15 p.m.
George T. Bailey with three felony cases including 20CF321, possession of meth five grams or less, had pre-trials continued until Mar. 22, 2022. The defendant will be allowed to attend 12-step meetings and electronic home confinement will remain in effect and be reviewed at the pre-trial. A Problem Solving Court referral is being considered.
First appearance with counsel for a petition to revoke probation for William H. Baker, 19CF32, false report of offense, resulted in Public Defender Tiffany Senger being appointed counsel. The defendant denied the allegations contained in the petition. Further pre-trial is Mar. 28, 2022.
Megan L. Bilyeu, 20CF176, possession of meth five grams or less, had pre-trial for a petition to revoke probation which was continued until Mar. 18, 2022. A Notice to Appear will be sent.
Charles M. Carron, 20CF53, theft of merchandise less than $300, had pre-trial continued until Mar. 22, 2022 for presentation of possible plea agreement. A Notice to Appear will be sent.
First appearance with counsel for Jeremy L. Cole, 22CF3, criminal trespass to residence, was continued until Mar. 22, 2022. Public Defender Tiffany Senger was appointed counsel.
Brian D. Colton, 21CF132, possession of a controlled substance, had pre-trial continued until Mar. 25, 2022 for presentation of possible plea agreement.
Tyler L. Engelhart, 22CF11, burglary, waived had preliminary hearing set for status on Mar. 17, 2022.
Hearing for Christina A. Fickas, 20CF326, possession of a stolen vehicle and possession of a controlled substance had pre-trial set for Mar. 10, 2022.
Kristy L. Marshall, 19CF399, two counts of burglary and two counts of merchandise over $300, had pre-trial continued until Mar. 11, 2022 for presentation of possible plea agreement.
Pre-trial for a petition to revoke probation for Joseph D. Mays, 19CF268, four counts of forgery, was continued until Apr. 1, 2022.
Pre-trials for Donald E. Runyon, 21CF170, possession of meth five grams or less and 19CF59, possession of meth five grams or less, was continued until Mar. 25, 2022.
Constance A. Sherman, 22CF16, meth delivery five grams or less and possession of meth five grams or less, had preliminary hearing and probable cause was found. The defendant waived formal arraignment and pled not guilty. Pre-trial is Mar. 17, 2022. In addition, there was first appearance for a petition to revoke probation in 20CF204, reckless discharge of a firearm, which was continued until the same date.
Rusty L. Tolly, 21CF161, aggravated battery/victim over 60 years of age and two counts of domestic battery, had pre-trial set for Apr. 1, 2022.
