Taylorville Boys Bowling concludes 2021-22 sesaon
TAYLORVILLE — The Taylorville High School Boys Bowling team recently finished their season and several team members were recognized at their annual awards banquet. The team finished the season with a record of six wins and three losses. The varsity bowling team advanced through the IHSA regional tournament in Danville and placed fifteenth overall at the Alton sectional tournament. Sophomore bowler Zander Frye was named most
improved bowler. Frye raised his average 49 pins from the previous season. Freshman bowler Cameron Alberts had the team’s highest average at 207 and was awarded the most valuable player award. The four seniors on the team, Erin Long, Bradyn Lowe, Jordan Fabian, and Jack McGrath, were honored for their service to the team. Senior Jack McGrath was given two awards, the Bryan Kuntzman Team Spirit award, and the THS Boys bowling team Captains award.
