TAYLORVILLE — On Thursday, Feb. 10, the students of the THS Mixed Choir and Concert Choir performed as part of a festival choir comprising around 200 voices. This year’s Area Choral Festival was hosted by THS, but also included students from the Central A&M, Meridian, New Berlin, Nokomis, Pana, Pawnee, Panhandle, and Ramsey school districts. The student musicians enjoyed an excellent educational experience under the direction of the guest director, Professor Lynda Marshall from Kaskaskia College. The festival choir practiced throughout the afternoon and presented an excellent concert that evening.
