Christina M. Durbin 40, of Taylorville passed away on Tuesday, February
15, 2022 at 5:30 p.m.
at Springfield Memorial Hospital in Springfield, IL.

She was born on December
15, 1981 in St. Louis, MO, the
daughter of Glenn and Trudy
(Knies) Reed Jr. She married
Kevin (Charlie) Durbin on
August 9, 2003 in Taylorville,
IL. She was a licensed
nursing home administrator
and Senior Vice President
at Progressive Careers and
Housing, and a member
of the Illinois Board of Nursing Administrators.

She is survived by her husband: Kevin (Charlie) Durbin of Taylorville, IL, daughter: Cayley Durbin of Taylorville, IL, son: Christopher (Elizabeth) Durbin of Taylorville, IL, mother: Trudy (Ken) Scoggin, niece: Addison, and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, and grandparents: Glenn and Lillian Reed Sr.

Christina truly loved her job and had a passion for making a positive impact in peopleís lives. She enjoyed watching baseball and rooted for the St. Louis Cardinals. She spent her summers relaxing at the lake with family and friends. On the weekends, you could find her venturing to her favorite shops in search of a good bargain.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 from 10:00-12:00 at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville, IL. Private graveside services will be held at a later date with Pastor Don Beetem officiating. Burial will be in Fraley Cemetery in Taylorville, IL at a later date.
