day. Christian County Resident Judge Brad Paisley presided over the following cases on Feb. 22, 2022:
Adam K. Cherry, 22CF25, possession of meth five grams or less, made first appearance and Public Defender Tiffany Senger was appointed counsel. First appearance with counsel is Mar. 28, 2022.
Pre-trial for Russell A. Crist, 21CF126, possession of meth five grams or
less, was continued until Apr. 18, 2022.
Troy B. Crowder, 21CF240, aggravated delivery of meth/protected area and two counts of meth delivery five grams or less and 20CF280, aggravated fleeing, withdrew a motion to act as his own attorney. A Hearing for a motion to dismiss the charges was set for Mar. 29, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. Final pre-trial is set for Apr. 19, 2022, at 1:15 p.m. with jury trial on May 2, 2022 at 8:30 a.m.
Pre-trial for Skye A. Halleman, 21CF114, possession of meth five grams or less, was continued until Mar. 25, 2022.
James D. Heinz, 19CF195, passing bad checks more than $150, waived preliminary hearing and formal arraignment and pled not guilty. Pre- trial is Apr. 19, 2022.
Hearing for Jade N. Humphrey, 20CF200, possession of meth
five grams or less, was continued until Apr. 15, 2022 for presentation of possible plea agreement.
Randi D. Johnson, 21CF318, bringing weapons/tool to penal institution, made first appearance and Public Defender Tiffany Senger was appointed counsel. Preliminary hearing is set for Mar. 30, 2022.
Pre-trial for Steven P. Kious, 19CF160, possession of a controlled substance, was continued until Mar. 28, 2022. A Notice to Appear will be issued.
Megan M. Klespitz, 19CF226, theft of merchandise less than $300, had a hearing
Pre-trial for Brandon L. Kline, 20CF113, possession of meth five grams or less; theft of merchandise less than $300; and possession of a controlled substance, was continued until Apr. 19, 2022 for presentation of a possible plea agreement.
Dennis E. Langley, 21CF6, retail theft of merchandise more than $300, had status hearing and preliminary hearing set for Mar. 30, 2022. First appearance for Thomas E. Merrifield, 22CF29, possession of meth five grams or less resulted in probable cause being found. A bond hearing will be held Feb. 23, 2022.
Final pre-trial for Jaycee Nishke, 21CF62, aggravated battery in a public place, was continued until Mar. 31, 2022. The Mar. 14, 2022 jury trial date was vacated.
