TJHS Tornadoes fly past Mt. Pulaski

MT PULASKI — The TJHS volleyball teams traveled to Mt. PULASKI on Tuesday night to take on the Hilltoppers. The Seventh grade Tornadoes won their match in just two sets. The final scores were 25-20 and 25-16. The Eighth grade team defeated their Mt. Pulaski opponent in two sets, 25- 18 and 25-22. Their regular season record improves to 22-1 with the post-season quickly approaching with Regionals beginning this weekend.
All three levels will defend their home tonight on Wednesday against Pleasant Plains. The first serve will be at 5:00pm.

Robyn Odugbesan: 9 service points, 2 aces, 2 blocks, 4 kills and 2 digs. Ryan Prince: 1 service point, 5 assists and 3 digs. Ella Appel: 1 service point, 5 kills, 1 assist and 10 digs. Josie Heberling: 7 kills. Kiera Brandis: 4 service points and 2 digs. Emlyn Mateer: 1 service point and 1 dig. Karlee Rexroad: 1 dig.
