Ava Genevieve Crowe, daughter of Matthew and Angela Nagle Crowe of Waterloo, is celebrating her 12th birthday on February 24, 2022 with a family pizza party. She is the granddaughter of Steve and Bonnie Wilson Nagle of Waterloo and Jane and the late Pat Crowe of St. Louis. She is the great granddaughter of Darlene Wilson and the late Ellis (Pee Wee) Wilson and the late George and Rosemary Nagle, all of Taylorville. Ava is a 6th grade A Honor student who is a member of student council, volleyball team, and speech club, where she received a first place blue ribbon for her recent speech. She has a lead part in the Spring play at school and recently played the piano in the school talent show. She sings and is a reader at school Masses and is a member of the church youth group. She won a recent VFW essay contest and received first place in the Illinois Music Association piano contest. She has been a piano student for 7 years. Ava has an older sister, Alexa Rosemary Crowe, who will be 15 years old on April 1, 2022.
