TAYLORVILLE — Jarred Rahar Board President of the Taylorville Public Schools Foundation and Taylorville Public Schools Foundation Board Treasurer Amy Hagen recently accepted a $500 donation in honor of Teacher Appreciation Week from Country Financial Representative Jeff Peabody. Country Financial Representative Jeff Peabody is happy to support the work of the Taylorville Public Schools Foundation, particularly the annual educator mini-grant program that supports the work at the individual classroom level. “We have an incredible school system and helping teachers helps everyone to a better job,” says Jeff.

In this first annual campaign that was launched to coincide with Teacher Appreciation Week, May 2-6, a time to say thank you to the extraordinary teachers, and running through American Education Week November 14 _ 18, an educational week to inform the public of the accomplishments and needs of the public schools and to secure the cooperation and support of the public in meeting those needs, Country Financial Representative Jeff Peabody will be donating $20 to the Taylorville Public Schools Foundation for each combined auto, home, and life insurance quote done through his office at 400 W. Market Street, Taylorville. Simply say, “I’d like to get a quote to help show my support for our schools” and we will make a donation in your name.

It’s an easy way to show your support for Taylorville School Foundation without obligation to purchase. “Country Financial Representative Jeff Peabody has been a faithful contributor to the Taylorville Public Schools Foundation for many years. The spirit and the creativity in this donation to our Foundation brings us a great deal of optimism for the future of our organization, that our organization’s mission resounds with the community,” said Board Treasurer Amy Hagen at the campaign announcement event.

Since 1996, the Taylorville Public Schools Foundation, a 501©3 charitable organization has relied upon the support generated by personal and business sponsorships and contributions, memorial bequests, in addition to special events like the annual Spring Fundraiser.
