Dear Editor,
Fox News hosts like Sean Hannity falsely identified photos from a border facility as “pallets and pallets of baby formula for illegal immigrants and their families.” It was clearly marked powdered milk. Due to recent recalls there is a shortage of baby formula. So what does Fox News and their ilk do. Use it to promote anti immigrant xenophobia by implying that immigrant children should be starved rather than provided formula and save it for “Americans”. This is a new low about as callous and disgusting as anyone can go. We’re importing formula to make up for the shortage but to use hate of immigrant babies to sell more ads and promote more Right Wing propaganda is beyond disgusting and immoral. Immigrants have always been and still are what makes America great and are the lifeblood of Americas success and future growth as we attract the best of the best. We have to keep our population up as white Americans have such a low birth rate we would shrink without immigration. Shut off this daily hate cadre and watch some real news with some truth and conscience for a change. There’s already too much hate in our political discourse.
