Pana Police Arrests
April 23, 2022
Brittany J. Wright, 34, Pana, was arrested on a Shelby County Warrant for failure to appear for bad checks.
Justin W. Bland, 47, Pana arrested for an order of protection violation.

Brittany C. Duduit, 33, Pana, issued a citation for driving while license suspended and given a mandatory court appearance on May 27, 2022 at 9 a.m. in the Christian County Courthouse.

Nicholas Wensman, Pana, picked up on a Christian County Warrant for aggravated battery to a pregnant woman. While securing Wensman, he jerked away from officers and fled on foot while handcuffed. Officers gave chase on foot and were able to take Wensman into custody. Lensman was charged with resisting-obstructing a Police Officer and transported to Christian County Correctional Center in lieu of bond on the outstanding warrant.

Jacob Durbin arrested on a Christian County Warrant for failure to appear for possession of meth. During the search, methamphetamine was located, resulting in an arrest for possession of methanphetamine less than 5 grams.

Chad E. McKittrick arrested on a Christian County Warrant for failure to appear for possession of meth. Pursuant to a search of his person incident to the arrest he was also arrested for possession of meth less than 5 grams and possession of a controlled substance.

Jacob A. Staples was traveling north on Cheney St. at approximately 5:01 p.m.. Tanner L. Thomason was traveling east on Main Cross St. Staples view was obstructed by a parked vehicle and entered into the intersection. striking Thomason’s vehicle on the passenger side. No injuries were reported and both vehicles were able to drive away form the scene.

Carson Bethard and Bradley Badman were involved in a traffic crash in King Township. Bet hard failed to yield to Badman at the intersection of 200 E. Road and 300 N. Road and Bethard struck Badman. Badman continued south from the intersection and came to a stop in the ditch. Both vehicles were towed from the scene and Badman was airlifted to the hospital.
