Published court appearances reflect the daily 10:00 a.m. criminal call and do not necessarily account for all felony proceedings heard that day. Christian County Resident Judge Brad Paisley presided over the following cases which were heard on May 24, 2022:
Kyla A. Brown, 19CF162 (possession of meth less than five grams), had negotiated plea continued until May 25, 2022.
Pre-trial for William J. Davis, 22CF40 (possession of meth less than five grams), continued until July 22, 2022.
Michelle S. Dixon, 21CF87 (possession of meth less than five grams) and 21CF134 (possession of meth less than five grams), pled guilty in both cases.
Sentenced to two years probation and 56 days in jail (with credit for 28 days already served). Hearing on the petition for waiver of criminal court assessment scheduled for June 29 at 9 a.m.
Pre-trial for Cody E. Hines, 20CF229 (receive/possess/sell stolen vehicle, theft control intent between $500 and $10K, set for plea June 3, 2022.
Pre-trials for Alan J. Logsdon, 19CF275 (possession of meth less than five grams) and 19CF1 (possession of meth less than five grams, fleeing/attempt to elude officer, driving on revoked license), continued until May 25, 2022.
Patrick S. Nichols, 22CF70 (two counts false info on FOID application, forgery/making/altering document, forgery/issuing/delivering document), had first appearance. Preliminary hearing set for June 30, 2022. Released on $10,000 recognizance fund.
Ashley K. Singletary, 22CF18 (aggravated battery of a victim over 60), had motion granted to be released on recognizance fund. Pre-trial hearing continued until July 15, 2022.
Joseph M. Besson, 19CF220 (possession of meth less than five grams), will have a motion for bond reduction heard on May 26, 2022.
