The Pana Community Mission Center has been in operation since 2010 providing clothing, household items, furniture, hygiene items, school supplies, coats and toys for those in need in Pana and surrounding communities. There has been no charge for these items.
Our building continues to require repairs and improvements. We currently need to replace the flooring in the main floor and recently we had to replace the stairs to the basement. The south side of the building was sided last year and the front of the building was sided and painted.
Beginning July 5, 2022, we will require a minimum of $2.00 donation each time an individual or family shops and receives an item/items from the center. This will enable us to continue to operate the center, make repairs, and improve the shopping experience.
After hours on June 2, 2022, the Mison Center will be closed for vacation. It will re-open June 14 at 9:00 a.m.
The center operates on monetary donations from individuals, organizations, businesses, churches and grants. The center has 20 volunteers and a nine-member Board of Directors. It is located at 133 South Locust Street in Pana. It is open Tuesday and Thursday 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. the first Monday of each month. Monetary donations may be mailed to CMC, P.O. Box 75, Pana Il 62557.
