The Christian County Zoning Board of Appeals will be conducting a Public Hearing that will be held on Tuesday, June 28th, 2022 at 6:00 pm  in the County Board Meeting Room, Second floor of the Christian County Courthouse, Taylorville Illinois


The Christian County Zoning Board of appeals will hold a Hearing to approve or disapprove a request for 2 applications one for Special Use Permit and one for rezoning to the Christian County Zoning Code.


1.) An application for Special Use was brought forth by Miss Kiera Gavin from Cypress Creek Renewables. The application proposes a 5 MW solar energy facility on Taylorville Township parcels #17-13-23-200-006-00 and

# 17-13-23-400-001-00 totaling roughly forty-six (46) acres.  Address is 705 Glenhill RD., Taylorville.


2.) An application for rezoning of three (3) residential lots of Pana Township parcels                       #11-25-21-101-002-00, #11-25-16-312-003-00, #11-25-16-311-005-01 from residential R1 to Commercial C1.  Address #2, #4, and #6 N Webster St., Pana, IL. This change will create a new business in the greater Pana area.


3.) To revisit text amendment TX22-2 sent back by the Christian County Board .
