Court appearances
Published court appearances reflect the daily 10:00 a.m. criminal call and do not necessarily account for all felony proceedings heard that day. Christian County Resident Judge Brad Paisley presided over the following cases which were heard on June 9, 2022:
Colby D. Coleman, 21CF284 (felony possession/use of a firearm), 21CF329 (driving on a revoked license) and 22CF54 (violation of offense against youth registration) had status hearings and first appearance with counsel continued to June 16, 2022.
Kyle P. Gorman, 21CF226 (two counts possession of a controlled substance), waved his right to a preliminary hearing and pled guilty to an amended count II with count I dismissed. Sentenced to 24 months first offender probation as well as four days in jail with credit for two days already served.
Case for Pete M. Gorman, 21CF225 (two counts possession of a controlled substance), dismissed.
Delaney C. Harmston, 22CF110 (possession of meth less than five grams, concealing/aiding a fugitive), appeared with counsel. Furlough granted for in-patient substance abuse treatment. Status on preliminary hearing scheduled for July 21, 2022.
Pre-trial for Robert M. Hodson, 21CF129 (aggravated DUI/accident/death), continued until June 29, 2022.
Travis J. Hopping, 17CF135 (aggravated ID theft/use of ID information/victim over 60, theft between $500 and $10K), had status hearing on public service work and probation. No further court appearances required.
Sheyenne J. Johnson, 21CF56 (financially exploiting elderly/disabled between $300 and $5K, theft between $500 and $10K), had negotiated plea continued until July 14, 2022.
Aslyshia M. Rightnowar, 19CF94 (aggravated cruelty to animals), appeared with counsel for a petition to revoke probation. Arrangement scheduled for July 21, 2022.
