Timothy Ostermeir, 62, no address given, was arrested by deputies on a failure to appear in court warrant for driving with suspended/revoked license.
Samantha Olivio, 22, no address given, was arrested by U.S. Marshals for armed robbery.

Jamie Hartman, 38, arrested for battery, disorderly conduct and resisting/obstructing an officer.

Vehicles driven by Donald Hopkins and Christopher Heinrich, no age or address given, were involved in a traffic crash in Pana Township. The Hopkins and Heinrich vehicles were both traveling south on 2600E, just south of Illinois Route 16. Hopkins stopped in the road and then started to back into a driveway. Hopkins did not see Heinrich and backed into him. There were no injuries and the vehicles were driven from the scene.

A vehicle driven by Merle Clayton, no age or address given, was traveling in Johnson Township when the vehicle ran off the roadway. It continued through a ditch and hit a large culvert. The vehicle was towed from the scene and Clayton was transported to the hospital with undisclosed injuries.
June 7, 2022
A vehicle driven by Janet Chiavaro, no age or address given, was traveling on Illinois Route 29 near 1700N when it struck a deer in the roadway. No injuries were reported and the vehicle was driven from the scene.
A vehicle driven by Isaiah J. Leonard of Taylorville was backing from a parking space in the Subway parking lot. Karen K. Bailey of Taylorville was waiting for approaching traffic attempting to exit Subway parking lot. Leonard stated he did not see Bailey behind him and backed into her. Leonard sustained damage to the driver’s side rear. Bailey sustained damage to the passenger side rear. Both units were able to drive from the scene and no injuries were reported as a result of the crash The crash occurred on private property.
Nathan A. Grigg of Taylorville pulled over on the north side of the road and had waved Nancy K. Hawkins of Taylorville to pass. Greg believed Hawkins to be continuing west bound and proceeded to start into traffic to make a turn going southbound, but Hawkins was turning northbound. Greg struck Hawkins in the rear passenger side door and rear fender behind the rear door.
