Michael R. Harris

April 17, 1957 — June 9, 2022

Mike was raised in Taylorville, Illinois and moved to Scottsdale with his wife Debbie of 36 years in 1986. He worked for the State of Arizona for over 20 years and retired December of 2019. 

Mike was a strong, endearing, kind man with a great sense of humor. He loved fishing and watching all his favorite sports and maybe even a little gambling!  He was an animal lover and adored his kitty cats.

He was preceded in death by his Father William in 2021 and his Mother Emma in 2022 of Taylorville, Ill. 

He is survived by his wife Debbie Harris of Scottsdale, sister Linda (Brother in Law-in- Jim) Micenheimer of Taylorville, Ill, nieces Michelle Feasel of Murfreesboro, Tenn. and Jamie Werve of Aurora, Ill.  nephews Curt and Chase Micenheimer of Taylorville, Ill. cousins Jim Rea of Arizona and John Rea of California.

Father and mother in Law Terry (Butch) and Sandra Finney, brother in Laws Terry (Sister in Law-in-law Patti) and Bob Finney. nieces Melissa Scanlan and Lindsey Finney all of Springfield, Ill. 

Forever loved by family and friends and now in God’s care.

    Mike was a great guy and was grateful to have him as a friend in school.

    Sorry to hear about Mike. Although we lose touch with people after high school I have good memories of Mike. My condolences!

    Great memories of my next door neighbor and childhood friend. So many games of wiffle ball and kick the can on summer nights in our north end neighborhood. Rest In Peace old friend
