TAYLORVILLE — The Taylorville Municipal Band will open their 2022 concert season this week on Wednesday June 22. This summer, the concerts will be held at the Christian County Historical Society at 325 Abe’s Way in Taylorville. The concerts are held every Wednesday evening at 7 p.m., with a rain date set for 7 p.m. on Thursday evenings. The concert season lasts through August 10th this year. Each week, the Christian County Historical Society will have refreshments available to the audience. Bring your lawn chair or a blanket and enjoy these concerts that are open to the public and are funded by the City of Taylorville.
