Remembering Ed Rees
(KINCAID) — A tree was planted on Thursday, June 16, in memory of Christian County Master Gardener Edward “Ed” Rees. I didn’t know Ed for very long but I cherish the time I had spent with him and Ruby. The very last memory was a day in December, he had a doctor’s appointment in Springfield. Ruby had asked me to go with him, so he wouldn’t be alone. He shared beloved memories of how he and Ruby met, jobs he worked and where he was from. I will always hold a special place for Ed Rees in my heart.
