TAYLORVILLE — The Taylorville Municipal Band, under the direction of Chris Gunn, is ready to “Strike Up The Band” for their 2022 season. The band has been working hard to prepare a fantastic season of music that is sure to have something for everyone! “This year, along with several guest soloists, the Muni Band plans to feature several sections within the band,” Gunn said, “This week we will be featuring our outstanding flute section.” The inaugural concert of the season, titled Flourish and Flutes, is this Wednesday, June 22, at the Christian County Historical Society. The concert will begin at 7:00 PM and refreshments will be available.
