Debra J. Roach

October 10, 1954 — July 15, 2022

Debra J. Roach, 67 of Paxton, passed away at 12:36 p.m. Friday, July 15, 2022, at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. Baier Family Funeral Services, Paxton is handling arrangements.
Debra was born October 10, 1954, in Taylorville the daughter of Arthur and Shirley Lucas Roach.

She is survived by one daughter, Sarah (Tim) Roth of rural Paxton; one son, Adam (Erica) Hoerbert of Indianapolis; six grandchildren Kara, David, Matthew, Marshal, Lukas and Leah; two sisters, Pam Russell of Paxton and Kathy (Randy) Gronewald of Taylorville.

Debi was preceded in death by her parents.

She graduated from Taylorville High School in 1972 and from Illinois State University with a degree in Juvenile Criminal Justice.
She was a member of the Upper Room Bible Church, Paxton. Debi retired as a bank teller from the First National Bank/Frederick Community Bank of Paxton.

Debi enjoyed antiquing, flea markets, reading and watching old movies. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandkids.
