Mark Bryon Foil
June 26, 1958 — July 14, 2022
Mark Bryon Foil, age 64, passed away suddenly at his residence in Princeton, Indiana. He was born June 26, 1958 in Taylorville, Illinois to the late Ronald (Rod) and Ramona Haflinger Foil. He married Barbara Anderson on November 27, 1993.
Mark was a graduate of Taylorville High School. He received his Associates Degree in Biblical Studies from Midwestern Theological Seminary in Kansas City, MO., and his Bachelor Degree in Bible Online Studies. Mark worked for Prairie Farms Dairy for over 40 years. He was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Mt. Carmel, Illinois. Mark’s greatest loves were God and his family.
Mark is survived by his wife Barbara of Princeton, Ind.: children: Stacy (Pete) Johnson of Olney, Ill., Mark (Lacey) Foil of Shelbyville, Ill., Suzanna (Dayne McGlad) Foil of Mt. Zion, Ill., Bryon (Joanna) Foil of Champaign, Ill.,; stepsons: Eric (Brandie) Watrous of Atlanta, G. A., and Craig (Tiffany) Watrous of Three Rivers, Mich., grandchildren: Bailey (Jordan) Cox, Haven (Brandon) Smith, Riley Foil, Brylen Watrous, Markie Foil, Tucker Foil, MJ Johnson, Foster Johnson, Taylor Foil, Tucker Konieczny, Remington Watrous, Hunter Watrous, Oliver Konieczny, Bennet Foil; great-grandchildren: Parker and Breeland Cox and Navy Foil-Runyon.
Brothers: James (Ann) Foil of Breckenridge, Colo., and Daniel (Jacqueline) Foil of Taylorville, Ill.. nieces: Shannon (Jay) Jefferies and Whitney (Stile) Smith; nephews: Jason Foil, Joshua Foil, and Alex Foil.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents Ronald and Ramona Foil, infant brother Kevin D. Foil, and grandparents Dennis and Ina Haflinger and Sidney and Adelaide Foil.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 650 N Wyckles Road, Decatur, Illinois, at 10:00 a.m., funeral at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Stephen Freel officiating.
Memorials may be made to the Prostate Cancer Foundation or American Heart Association.
