Chevrolet Dominates In Fair Truck Pulls


CHRISTIAN COUNTY — Hillsboro native, Jake Codem, had the furthest pull of the night at the Truck Pull event on Thursday, July 21, at the Christian County Fair. He is pictured above in his ’91 Chevy pulling past the 100 ft. mark. The pull ended at 343.27 ft., giving him first place of the Two-Wheel Drive Super Stock. The winner of the 4×4 Street Stock, Drew Tepen, pulled 294.18 ft. in his ’85 Chevy. Super Stock Gold winner, Adam Meisenheimer, in his ’70 Chevy, ended with 313.62 ft. Harry Roberts rounded out the night during the Modified 4×4. He reached 292.66 in his ’93 Chevy. The grandstand event for Friday will be the Tractor Pulls. First pull will be at 7:00 p.m.
