Court appearances
Published court appearances reflect the daily 10:00 a.m. criminal call and do not necessarily account for all felony proceedings heard that day. Christian County Resident Judge Brad Paisley presided over the following cases, which were heard on Aug. 1, 2022:
Angela S. Bourke, 20CF259 (meth delivery between five and 15 grams, possession of meth less than five grams) and 21CF36 (two counts possession of meth less than five grams), appeared on a warrant. Pre-trial set for Aug. 4, 2022.
Pre-trial on a petition to revoke probation for Haley M. Dixon, 18CF339 (possession of meth less than five grams), continued to Sept. 30, 2022.
Joshua D. Foil, 22CF153 (aggravated battery/great bodily harm), appeared before the Court and had bond set at $10,000. First appearance with counsel set for Sept. 29, 2022.
Brandon S. Giddens, 22CF142 (retail theft of display merchandise over $300), had first appearance. Preliminary hearing set for Sept. 26, 2022.
Petition to modify bond hearing for Byron C. Kay, 22CF10 (burglary), continued to Aug. 2, 2022.
Jerry W. Riggs, 20CF147 (meth delivery less than five grams), pled guilty in a negotiated plea. He was sentenced to two years of probation and 148 days in jail with credit for 74 days already served. Some fines were waived through a petition for waiver of assessments, though he is still responsible for any fees. Next court date set for Oct. 12, 2022.
Marissa N. Tennant, 22CF96 (delivery of cocaine between 15 and 100 grams, delivery of cocaine between one and 15 grams, causing a circumstance endangering a child), appeared on a petition to modify bond, which the Court granted. Pre-trial scheduled for Sept. 1, 2022.
