Arrests
Aug. 1:
Layla K. Schuyler, 26, Springfield, was arrested on an active warrant and for driving while license suspended.
Thomas O. Karmatzis, 60, Decatur, was arrested for retail theft.
Christian County
Arrests
Aug. 1:
Angela Bourke, 57, Rosamond, was arrested on a failure to appear in court warrant for meth delivery.
Michael Morrissey, 33, Kincaid, was arrested by deputies for violating an order of protection.
Accidents
July 30:
Vehicles driven by Charles Carron and Mario Bernardini were involved in a traffic crash in Greenwood Township. Both traveling northbound on County Highway 1 at approximately 471N. Bernardini said he was traveling at approximately 60 mph. Carron was allegedly traveling at a higher rate of speed and struck Bernardini’s vehicle in the rear end. After the collision, Carron lost control, went into a ditch on the west side of the road, and overturned. Carron’s vehicle was towed from the scene and both were taken to the hospital with undisclosed injuries.
