I took my mother to the Christian County Health Department for a Covid booster shot. She had a question about the shot and the nurse had no clue what the answer was. She had to look it up. What is going on? Usually, the staff is beyond friendly and very knowledgeable. It concerns me that someone would be giving shots that she knows nothing about. I didn’t recognize anyone but the girl at the front desk. The nurse was fairly rude and quite abrupt. I have heard that a bunch of employees quit and from the articles in the paper, it seems like this may be a result of the Christian County Health Board. Maybe the Chairman of the County Board needs to rethink who he has appointed to the Health Board. It was friendly and run well by knowledgeable people but now, it seems a bit questionable. Maybe the Chairman needs to step in before a needed service is destroyed. My family will be getting their shots from this point on from trained professionals at a different location.
What’s going on?
Six employees in less than two weeks have left the Christian County Health Department. What is going on? From what I understand two members of the County Heath Department have gone rogue. Maybe the Chairman of Christian County Board needs to reign his appointees back before they destroy the entire Health Department.
Have a clue
Does anyone have a clue or care about the actions of the County Board or the Christian County Board of Health? Call the board of health president and the county board representative on the health board and ask them how after 2 years of dedication to our citizens that the Covid-19 CREW is not worthy of a 45 cents an hour raise? You heard it correctly—NOT ALLOWED. Regardless of your outlook on Covid-19, step off your high horse and have some dignity for the people you should be championing……. Disgraceful!!
