In the last 2 weeks, I have seen/heard more inappropriate and unauthorized decisions at the Christian County Health Department than you ever saw with our LEADER of the last 2 years. How bad does it have to get before the actual county board speaks up and realizes what is going on? I believe they actually voted a few years back to remove their own chairperson but during this travesty we hear ‘crickets’. You appoint them-you need to remove them.

This is an open letter to Christian County Board, and Chairman Mat Wells. As Chairman of the Board you appoint the members to the Health Board. The residents of the county would love to hear; what are the requirements to serve on the board?; How long do they serve?; What are their responsibilities; Are you aware of their by-laws?; Does only one board member have the authority to place the administrator on leave, without discussing it with the entire board?; If the healthBoard chooses not the use the states attorney, from what fund are these expenses covered?
Since you have appointed so many innocent people. This is a reflection of your leadership.

There is a health board meeting scheduled for 6 p.m. at the Health Department, on Thursday. If you want to keep a Health Department in Christian County, you need to come and be heard. The administrator of the Health Department was put on administrative leave with pay, until further notice. He has been employed by the Health Departmentfor over 17 years. He was the administrator through the pandemic. He was who you saw if you came out to the parking lot for testing, or shots. Directing Traffic at the fairgrounds, and applying for grants to keep the Health department running. The department was in uncharted water with the pandemic, and handled
