TAYLORVILLE – Taylorville Memorial Hospital will provide free breast cancer screenings for women who are uninsured or underinsured during October as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The screenings will be offered from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Fridays in October at the nonprofit hospital.
Appointments are required; no walk-ins are available. To schedule an appointment, call 217-707-5550.
Educational materials, including information on general breast health and how to perform breast self-exams, will be available. Funding is provided by the Taylorville Memorial Foundation.
Free mammograms will be offered at all five Memorial Health hospitals in Decatur, Jacksonville, Lincoln, Springfield and Taylorville throughout October.
