Pana Christmas Parade Sunday

(PANA) — The Pana Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a downtown Christmas Festival on Sunday, Nov. 28, from 12:00 noon until 7:00 p.m.

The street will be lined with vendors from noon until 5:00 p.m. There will be many activities, including ice skating from noon until 4:00 p.m. Carriage rides will be provided between 2:00 and 5:00 p.m.

The Chamber’s annual Christmas Parade begins at 5:30 p.m. and run north on Locust St. from Fifth to Third St. to welcome Santa Claus to town. Line up is in the TaylorvilleCommunityCredit Union parking lot, 101 E. Fifth St., at 5:00 p.m.

At the conclusion of the parade, there will be the lighting of the Chamber Christmas Tree in Peoples Park at the corner of Third and Locust.

Families are encouraged to make and hang an ornament on the Chamber Christmas tree in the park.

The public is welcome to attend.
